The Mind started DJ’ing at the age of 14 at the Plastic Academy of Barcelona. After a while he bought two turntables and started practicing frequently at home. Since his beginning, he has always been recognized for his dark and convincing sounds tipical of Cataluña (Hard Techno, Hardcore, Hard Trance, Hardstyle…). At the age of 16 , with the pseudonym “Javi Tracker”, he released his first record produced by DJ Ruboy and edited by Bit Music (Divucsa). At the age of 19 he won his first amateur DJ contest held at the famous Xque of Girona, obtaining, among other things, a residency (for two months) sharing the DJ booth with the well know spanish DJs Pastis & Buenri. Because of his great talent, he signed for “TNT” club of Valencia (Sutarday night) and during Sunday afternoon opened a small club in Barcelona called “Desk” with his inseparable partener Al-Fredo. During this time he released 9 records to market, a compilation (Activa Presents Pastis & Buenri, Al-Fredo & Tracker Compilation) and he DJed in more than 70 clubs, being a regular resident in 5 and monthly in 2. Nowadays he alternates his residency at his club “Desk” every Sunday afternoon with his monthly residency at the well know “Activa” club in Barcelona during Saturday night. During summer 2009 started his interest for Minimal, Techno and Progressive House music, and began producing this style of music. Since December 28th 2009 has been released his first Minimal track on Beatport: The Mind – Space Melody 2010, included in the album “Talent Scout Vol. 1’’ of the prestigious label “Fish Rec UK”. The track has been a big hit,reaching the nº27 in top Beatport Minimal. Desde sus comienzos siempre se ha decantado por los sonidos mas contudentes y mas oscuros tipicos de Cataluña ( Makina , Hardcore , Hard Trance , Hardstyle... ) A los 16 años y bajo el pseudomino "Javi Tracker" saca su 1er disco producido por Dj Ruboy y editado por Bit Music ( Divucsa ). A los 19 gana el concurso de dj..s amateur de la sala Xque ( Gerona ) obteniendo como premio,entre otras cosas,una residencia de dos meses ( Julio y Agosto ) compartiendo cabina con sus referentes Pastis & Buenri. Gracias a esta estancia ficha por la discoteca TNT ( Vinaroz / Valencia ) los sabados noche y abre en Barcelona la sala DESK los domingos tarde con su inseparable compañero de cabina Al-Fredo. Durante todo este tiempo ha sacado 9 discos al mercado,1 recopilatorio ( Activa Presents Pastis & Buenri , Al-Fredo & Tracker Compilation )y ha pinchado en mas 70 salas,estando de residente en 5 y teniendo residencia mensual en 2. Actualmente sigue de residente en Desk los domingos tarde alternando residencia mensual en Activa los sabados noche. En verano del 2009 se empieza a interesar por el Minimal,el Techno y el Progressive House,comenzando a hacer sus primeras producciones de este estilo. Desde el 28 de diciembre esta a la venta su 1er tema : The Mind - Space Melody 2010 ,incluido en el album "Talent Scout Vol.1" del prestigioso sello FISH REC UK. Esta cancion ha tenido una gran aceptacion,llegando al nº 27 del top Beatport Minimal.
